Digital Engineering:
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies and workflows for infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in using BIM authoring software, such as Revit or Bentley MicroStation, to create accurate and coordinated 3D models.
- Understanding of digital twins and their applications in infrastructure management.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms like BIM360 for model sharing and data management.
- Ability to leverage digital tools for clash detection, quantity takeoffs, and scheduling simulations.
BIM Modeling:
- In-depth knowledge of Revit's tools and features for modeling roads, bridges, retaining walls, noise walls, tunnels, and shafts.
- Expertise in creating parametric building components that adapt to design changes.
- Ability to develop detailed BIM content libraries for specific project needs.
- Familiarity with Level of Detail (LOD) specifications and guidelines.
- Experience with data extraction and reporting tools from BIM models.
Lidar Mobile Mapping Scanning:
- Proven experience with Lidar Mobile Mapping (LMM) technology for site data acquisition.
- Proficiency in operating and processing scans from Trimble MX9 Mobile Mapping.
- Ability to register and align point clouds to project coordinates.
- Experience in using software like Trimble Business Centre (HCE) and Terramodel for point cloud processing and extraction.
- Ability to integrate point cloud data into BIM models for as-built verification and design refinement.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with 12D for quantity takeoffs and earthworks calculations.
- Familiarity with SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
- Understanding of road and civil design standards (TMR & RMS).
- Experience with survey instruments like Trimble GPS and Total Stations.
- Scanning and drone experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
