Perioperative Services
Cabrini Perioperative Services is a vibrant and dynamic environment with 17 operating theatres including a Hybrid theatre, with an addition of 3 endoscopy rooms and 2 Cardiac Cath Labs spread across 2 levels in a spacious and modern facility equipped with advanced technology. Providing a full range of surgical specialties, with more than 1800 operations each month, every theatre and cath lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide patient centred care. Our 3 day-of-surgery admission points and staff focus on every patient having a positive experience with their admission to theatre, while our 3 Post-Anaesthetic Care Units and 2 discharge lounges cater for all specialist post-operative care requirements.
How you will make an impact
The Computer Clerk is responsible for bookings and post procedure data entry across Main Theatre, Day Procedure Centre, CSSD, Cath Lab and Nursing Pre Admission.
It’s located in Perioperative Services, which is fast-paced and focused on delivering high standards of care for patients.

Key responsibilities:
Reception admin duties, and data entry into Patient Administrative System (PAS)
Liaises with doctor’s rooms and reception staff to ensure correct details and theatre times.
Welcomes patients, family members, visitors, and specialists (VMOs), and answers their enquiries
Answers telephones and ensures accurate recording and delivery of messages
Responds quickly to emergency situations, ensuring correct personnel are contacted.
About you
Along with providing dedicated assistance to our healthcare team and patients.
You will have the following:
Proven clerical experience, hospital setting desired. (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and are able to problem solve.
Positive attitude and be adaptable to change within an evolving service
Excellent communication and time management skills, and works respectfully within the team.
