  • Salary $128,327 - $133,758 p.a. - Ongoing Full Time - RN/M4

Overview

We have a great leadership opportunity for an Advanced Nurse/Midwife Manager - Nursing Projects providing support services, to the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery (EDNM), in nursing/midwifery practice and services in areas including but not limited to staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, bed and resource management, accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management.

The Advanced Nurse/Midwife Manager delivers on agreed outcomes for strategic projects as determined by the EDNM.

Eligibility

Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years post registration experience.

  • Applicants will be required to have experience in:
  • Leadership within the health care industry
  • managing and leading complex projects
  • leading services or organisations through times of extensive change
  • applying contemporary management processes and practices in a health care setting
  • leading quality improvement initiatives in a health care setting
  • liaising with large numbers of staff from various multi-disciplinary backgrounds
  • the use of computer software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite.
