(HEO6) $86,360 - $93,285 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fantastic opportunity for a professional analyst to support the University’s engagement activities.

The Planning and Analytics branch is a part of the University’s Division of University Operations, which provides enabling services and resource capabilities to support the University’s teaching and research objectives and activities. Planning and Analytics supports strategic and operational planning, performance reporting, data and analytics, and survey/data management within the University. The branch assists with developing the University's Strategic, Operational and Business Plans plus monitoring their implementation performance.

The branch includes Analysts, Business Intelligence and Analytics developers, Data Engineers and Planning Officers who acquire, compile and interpret information to help the University create its plans and achieve its goals.

The Planning and Analytics Team are seeking a collaborative and diligent Advancement Analyst to join their team to support the University’s engagement activities through the provision of data-related services. The position also provides technical advice, system monitoring, training and support to staff and stakeholders with regards to Advancement data and systems.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience and understanding of database systems, building complex queries, analysing results and preparing reports.
  • High-level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Access.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential data.
  • Experience or willingness to learn to deliver training in one-to-one and group environments and preparing training materials.
