The Opportunity
You will play a crucial role in maintaining high product standards and ensuring our Aerospace and Defence cooling systems meet all necessary requirements before reaching our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and supporting QC team
- Promote continuous learning and upskilling.
- Develop efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with production and engineering team to resolve issues as they arise.
- Understand PWR and customer needs to maintain and develop effective Quality Control processes.
- Setting tasks, establishing priorities, and coordinating the Quality Inspection team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and prevent quality issues, manage equipment calibration, coordinate inspections, and liaise with external subcontractors.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and professional behaviour.
- Previous experience managing Quality Control staff in the Aerospace and Defence sector.
- Strong GD&T knowledge.
- Formal Engineering Qualifications (preferred).
- Proficiency in quality inspection equipment and processes.
- Ideally you will have some experience with relevant quality inspection equipment/software including Polyworks, Romer/Faro Arm/CMM.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
