Our client is an impressive group of companies in Allied Health, providing services Australia-wide. As a member of a select panel, this organisation performs independent assessments for Aged Care residents. Opportunity for a casual RACA Assessor to join the team in Darwin is on offer.
The Role
- An independent & flexible role, visiting Aged Care Homes in your region
- Casual hours & roster completed 1 month in advance - ability to fit in with your other commitments
- Complete AN-ACC interviews & assessments for residents of Aged Care homes
- Broadly speaking, the assessment includes mobility, function, frailty, cognition, communication, behaviour & mental health, wound care & palliative care
- Develop great relationships with residents, staff & other stakeholders
- When not out visiting clients in your region, you can work from home
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Some travel to Alice Springs or Katherine may be required on occasion (1-2 nights away maximum), in line with business needs
- Be part of a collaborative team of Assessors committed to quality and client care
- Government training to be completed in July (dates TBC), possibly interstate for a few days (all expenses paid)

The Ideal Candidate
- AHPRA-Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with minimum 5 years’ experience Aged Care in Australia
- Strong clinical skills
- Eager to provide quality care to residents
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
- Highly organised, with exceptional time management
- 3 x COVID vaccinations
- Driver’s licence & car
- Full working rights in Australia
