Aged Care Facility located in Toowoomba QLD 4350, who respect the individual’s dignity and their rights whilst in their care.
Roles start in April 2024. Full Time work on offer
Full Time roles minimum 38 hours per week.
32 Positions on offer
Starting pay is $29.77/hour Level 3 as per the Aged Care Award 2020. Additional payments or penalties are as per the Award
Onsite training provided with progression opportunities.
7.6-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday - Morning, afternoon and evenings, with start and finish times between 6am and 6pm
Flexibility to work these hours is essential.
You will be required to complete duties in Residential care facility and hospital setting, this role does involve heavy lifting
Your Duties in Residential Aged care
- Assisting residents with daily activities including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, changing linens, and taking medication
- Aiding other medical personnel as they provide treatment, interacting with patients
- Assist in patients with daily activities
- Clean hospital rooms
- Transport patients to diagnostic tests
- Help with grooming and eating
- Listening to patients needs in a hospital setting
Requirement for the role
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support (Aging)
- Flu/Covid Vaccination certificate
- Availability to work a variety of shift
- Work well in team environment
- Excellent communication skills and enable to communicate effectively with residents, team members and visitors
