What is the Program?
ACCPA is running an innovative 12-month paid program for Graduate Enrolled Nurses and Graduate Registered Nurses. This program will provide guidance to Graduate Enrolled Nurses & Graduate Registered Nurses in their first year of clinical practice through mentorship, on-line PD sessions presented by expert clinicians, as well as ongoing portfolio development.
The aim of this program is to ensure graduated nurses receive essential support and education they require as they enter and successfully work in the AGED CARE sector.
In responding to this advertisement, your application will be housed in a secure portal for partnering Aged Care Providers to recruit from. Once employed, the recruiting organisation will pay for your registration into ACCPAs transition programs & support you with on the job learning through mentorship.
Please note, this is for Graduate Nurses (<2 years) intake ONLY.
Eligibility requirements:
- AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated commitment to a career in the Aged Care Sector
- Current satisfactory Australian National Police Check
- Provide evidence of vaccination (including Covid19) prior to commencing employment

For your application to considered, you will need to register an account on the Workforce Hub and complete an application for the Aged Care Transition to Practice Program (ACTTPP).
Follow the below steps:
Step 1.

Step 2.
Once you have registered as an individual on the Workforce Hub, ensure you are logged in to complete Step 3.
Step 3.
Complete the Nursing Program Form: 2024 THE ACCPA AGED CARE TRANSITION TO PRACTICE PROGRAMS (ACTTPP) APPLICATION FORM - Aged Care Services Workforce Hub (agedservicesworkforce.com.au)
Step 4.
Once your application has been submitted via the Workforce Hub, check your email address, and keep your mobile phone handy for the Aged Care organisations to contact you directly.
