As a Registered Nurse you’ll plan, organise and implement care in accordance with individual resident care plans and deliver and promote high standards of professional care. You will provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to our care staff.
Responsibilities
- Being responsible for ensuring high quality care is delivered to residents
- Supervising and assisting other care employees
- Building and fostering partnerships with each resident, respecting and ensuring their dignity, and focusing on their health and wellbeing.
- Working within a supporting team to coordinate and deliver care.
- Providing complex clinical care including but not limited to: wound dressing; administration of medications; condition assessments and referrals.
- Evaluating and maintaining care plans to meet changing needs of residents
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management
Requirements
- AHPRA Registration
- Aged Care experience highly desirable but open to RN's from all industries
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
- Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation and will be highly regarded
- An enthusiastic and empathetic approach
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Flu vaccination
- Current police check or willing to obtain
- Must have full Australian working rights - no sponsorship opportunities on offer
