Your new company

A leading higher education organisation headquartered in Townsville with operations throughout Queensland are seeking an Agile Coach to lead and implement agile methodologies across the organisation!

Your new role

Established many years ago, this organisation has deep ties to multiple communities throughout Queensland not only due to their educational offerings, but it's community engagements. Not limited to just these (and the many employment opportunities the organisation brings), the significant research conducted at their many sites aim to change the lives of people for the better.

Reporting into the Head of Software & Platform Engineering, you will lead this organisations change to an agile way of working. Providing hands on mentoring and coaching to Software Teams, Scrum Masters and Product Owners (among other stakeholders), you will play a pivotal role in driving organisational agility and the implementation of Agile practices.

To be successful in this role your duties will vary to ensure the successful adaptation of new methodologies. These will include conducting training workshops and coaching sessions (both in person and remotely), identifying opportunities for process improvement, analysing key metrics to assess performance, facilitating change management initiatives and overhauling project & technical documentation to name a few.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need as much experience/knowledge across the following as possible:

• Agile coaching and implementation
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) including certifications (SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner, etc.)
• Change management practices
• Training and mentoring
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Working with stakeholders at all levels
• Perfect communication skills (written and verbal)

NOTE:

• Full Australian working rights are required
• Applicants need to be currently residing in Australia (those outside of Australia will not be considered for this position)
