The role

Hy-Tec currently has an opportunity for a Heavy Rigid (HR) licenced Driver to join our fleet of Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers & Batchers in Katherine, NT.

If you are seeking an opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team, where your contribution will be valued, then this is the job for you. In this position you will meet a diverse group of customers and no two days will be the same.

As an Agitator Driver you will ensure that customer orders are delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently. If you already have a HR licence, then we can offer training in all facets of being an Agitator Driver and pre-mixed concrete delivery. This is a great opportunity to gain specialised driving experience in a secure and growing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver concrete to clients' sites
  • Manage concrete slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete
  • Complete basic documentation
  • Develop positive customer relationships
  • Maintain the truck in a clean and tidy condition

What you will need to succeed

  • Essential - hold a current HR drivers licence and be able to provide a driver’s licence history check
  • Highly regarded – experience driving a Concrete Agitator Truck
  • Current white card
  • Have a positive work ethic and sense of integrity to allow you to work self-directed
  • Be a reliable team player with a focus on excellent customer service
