What are the Specialised Agribusiness Solutions (SAS) team?
The SAS team sits within CBA Regional & Agribusiness Banking team and specifically works with the Bank’s largest pre & post farm gate agriculture clients. It is a fast moving and growing team that puts the customer first by taking the time to understand and see their business whilst applying a standard of excellence to all tasks.

Due to continued success our team is experiencing rapid and sustainable growth, resulting in a rare opportunity to join our Sydney team and work with Australia’s largest agricultural clients and investors. Many of our clients have bespoke requirements, often with exposure to international markets, giving you the opportunity to gain new skills . The team role models leading ESG practices and is an outperformer in trade & commodity finance & Australian agri M&A finance.
You will:

• Utilise your considerable expertise with CBA’s business banking systems, processes, and policies to assist and coach your peers on a broad range of applications.
• Manage the operational aspects of the client’s day-to-day banking requirements.
• Work closely with product & risk specialists
• Collaborate closely with clients and team members in the structuring of new banking facilities and the management of existing ones.
• Prepare concise and well-reasoned credit reports, annual reviews, monitor covenant compliance, assist with KYC /onboarding & general client correspondence.
• Travel to regional Australia to understand your client’s business and banking requirements.

We want to hear from you if you have:

• Sound skills in financial statement analysis
• Demonstrated experience within our commercial, wholesale or agri banking.
• A proven track record completing new to bank credit applications and ongoing facility management.
• Demonstrate a true depth and breadth of experience with our internal systems, processes, and policies.
• A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance or Accounting with a strong interest in Agri/Commodity Markets.
