Australian Institute for Musculoskeletal Sciences (AIMSS) – Western Health
Sunshine Hospital – Western Health Campus
Part Time Fixed term position, 20 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE)
AIMSS is a collaborative institute for translational research into musculoskeletal diseases. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our institute. The AIMSS RA is expected to contribute to clinical and general research, manage research records as per standard protocols, and contribute to applications for research funding and other responsibilities as directed by the AIMSS Director.
Your new role:
- Participate in community and professional activities related to musculoskeletal science including coordination of community and health professional engagement roadshows and building of effective partnerships with relevant organisations
- Actively participate in the communication and dissemination of research where appropriate;
- Contribute to data collection and analysis;
- Participate in research independently and as a member of a research team;
About you:
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective research collaboration and research and community engagement
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to independent and team based research
- Valid certificate of training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- A tertiary qualification, preferably in the area of health sciences or biomedicine
