Christophorus House Retirement Village is situated amidst tranquil gardens in a peaceful village setting and is home for our residents in both residential and independent living units. Our small size in comparison to other senior care facilities engenders a community spirit where each person is valued.
Helga Forster House (residential living) is home to 24 residents, and together with a dedicated Care Team and new management, we aim to deliver person centred care and choice for each resident. The Leadership Team work hard to provide staff with a supportive working environment while encouraging growth and embracing ongoing education and support.
The Role:
As an AIN you will be responsible for:
- Providing quality care according to the current Resident Care Plan to meet the individuals needs and enhance quality of life.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, grooming, mobility and nutrition.
- Make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications (AINs - Certificate III)
- Previous experience in aged care industry preferable
- Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written
- Computer literacy
- Must be team player
- Evidence of Covid vaccination
- Right to Work in Australia essential
- Successful applicants must have a current Police Check
