SalaryOur client with 2 properties located near Narembeen and Geraldton, WA require an Air Seeder Operator starting mid-March until early June. Family operated with a 5,700Ha cropping program, you’ll be operating John Deere machinery and working in a team of 3. You will also be assisting with general farm duties such as rock picking and cleaning of machinery and shed etc. Accommodation and meals provided.

- Family owned and operated with a 5,700Ha cropping program;
- 2 properties located near Narembeen and Geraldton.
- Starting mid-March until early June;
- Working in a team of 3;
- The first 2-3 weeks will be working at a property 80km east of Geraldton. This will include accommodation in shared housing and food provided. The remainder of seeding will be at the Narembeen property;
- Operating a John Deere 9520 Track with 60ft DBS Bar, Ausplow Box and John Deere guidance;
- Assisting with general farm duties including cleaning of machinery and sheds, rock picking etc.
- Experience operating large ag machinery preferably with seeding experience;
- Mechanical skills desirable but not essential;
- Good English speaking skills;
- Driver’s licence;
- Smokers OK but not in machinery or accommodation.
- Hourly rate: $35+, depending on experience;
- Hours: 6 days per week; 12pm-12am (12 hour shift);
- Accommodation: New 2 Bedroom self-contained Donga on farm with air conditioning/heating;
- Meals: Food provided for breakfast + lunch and evening meal prepared;
- Work vehicle.
