The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced full time Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join the Turboprops team based at Adelaide Airport to work on our PT6A/TPE331 and H80  engines. Your duties will include:

  • Perform heavy engine maintenance on gas turbine engines
  • Work in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation and airworthiness requirements
  • Utilise ERP and maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain a clean & tidy work area free of foreign object damage (FOD)
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
  • Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver to the customer.
  • Occasional NDT work.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
  • PT6A/TPE331/H80 experience
  • Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of engine strip, detailed inspection and assembly
  • Experience in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work in accordance with OEM documentation
  • Experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with both manual and automated tools and equipment
  • NDT experience desirable but not essential
  • High level of accuracy and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals
  • Machining and general engineering knowledge an advantage.

    An excellent salary of $75,000 - $90,000 on offer for the right candidate.
