Job Description
Reporting to the Manager Governance and Risk, this role will see you responsible for overseeing daily operations across airside, terminal, and landside areas, including managing lease agreements, asset oversight, aviation refuelling services and administering controlled parking. This leadership role involves strategic planning for airport infrastructure, safety enforcement, and supervision of Airport Reporting Officers (AROs), ensuring regulatory compliance and positive stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise regulatory standards, provide technical expertise, and ensure safety protocols.
- Lead, coach, and develop Airport Reporting Officer (ARO) team members to optimise performance and maintain quality standards.
- Foster collaboration, address operational challenges, and enhance customer experiences.
- Prepare budgets, contribute to strategic initiatives, and manage long-term infrastructure plans.
- Oversee emergency response procedures, conduct safety assessments, and implement risk mitigation measures.
- Promote a culture of safety, comply with regulations, and facilitate feedback on WHS issues.
The successful candidate will need a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in airport operations, with at least two years in a supervisory role. To be considered for this role you will need Tertiary qualifications in airport management, engineering, or a related field.
