The Site and FIFO
Based at a major project in SA the contracts involve tailings reinforcement projects along with bulk earthworks projects. The projects offer:
- FIFO from Adelaide directly to site!
- Comfortable camp accommodation and meals
- 2:1 roster - Wednesday to Tuesday roster
- 12-hour shifts
- Day shift only
- Long term employment
The Duties
As an experienced all-round operator within the civil and mining industry, you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of operators and trades.
- Experience across a range of plant in civil settings, including:
Excavators: CAT 36T-300T, Hitachi 30T-190T;
Dozers: CAT D8, D9, D10 and D11;
Graders: CAT 12M, 14H/M, 16H/M and 24 H/M;
Loaders: CAT 966, 980, 988 and 992;
Scrapers: CAT 623, 627, 657.
This project involves highly detailed work, so demonstrated GPS experience for skilled operators essential. At this time, we are looking for experienced operators who have over 5 years of demonstrated experience in civil (preferred) or mining projects.
Your Value
You must come from a civil or mining background with extensive and recent experience operating multiple pieces of plant. The successful candidates will:
- Hold a national current Driver's Licence & White Card (essential, HC or HR licence preferred);
- GPS experience (essential)
- Proven commitment to health and safety;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Personal drive & results oriented.
