All-Rounder/Truck Driver (MR/HR)

Prestige Plants Australia offers an extensive range of plants and trees for sale to the landscape industry, retail nurseries and local government in Victoria and around Australia.

Luckily, to be a Driver within Prestige Plants Australia, you don’t need prior industry experience with plants. Being the face of our Business, you will need to love dealing with customers, have a positive attitude and be unafraid of a bit of heavy lifting, because our Driver role is so much more than just driving a truck. As a Driver at Prestige Plants, you’ll be joining our outstanding Team of Drivers in delivering orders directly to our customers throughout Victoria, picking up stock from other suppliers, performing safety checks on our truck fleet, and any other necessary nursery work on the quieter days. You don’t need to be an ex-bodybuilder, but the role is physical in nature, so you'll need to enjoy hands-on work!

It’s important that you have access to reliable transport to get to and from work safely, as it can be quite the trek to get to our version of paradise here in Kinglake. People that want to grow with us and progress up the ranks have the opportunity available to them.

It’s great if you have prior plant experience, but we are also keen to hear from people from a range of different industries so long as you have a heavy vehicle license. Regardless of what industry you come. from we are looking for a positive never-give-up attitude, willingness to learn and a mindset of having a positive impact right across nursery.

You will be responsible for: 

• Driving any one of our seven trucks to deliver stock to our customers
• Liaising with our customers to ensure satisfaction
• Picking up stock from suppliers
• Maintaining the truck and ensuring safety measures are consistently met
• Nursery work on a quieter delivery days
