We have an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty kitchenware & homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of over 260 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic Allocations & Replenishment Analyst entrusted with supporting the execution of the merchandise strategy of Replenishment and Allocation of stock to store.
About the role:
Reporting into the Senior Merchandise Planner, the role of the ARA contributes to reaching budgeted sales, gross profit, and inventory productivity goals by ensuring precise allocations. With a focus on analytical allocation accuracy, this role directly impacts our profitability.
Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Develop demand forecast across all articles (including new additions) in line with the critical path
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results
- Utilising Analysis providing insights in an analytical manner to the Planner to support future opportunities
- Work with Planner to execute strategy and measure results and recommend future actions
- Develop and produce both Daily & Weekly Company Reporting to the Merchandise Team on a timely basis
About you:
- Expert computer skills – Excel is a must
- Ability to understand data and analytics and make recommendations as a result
- A great understanding of the retail industry
- Working knowledge of merchandise systems (Pronto, Highly Advantageous)
