Alluminothermic Welders (Railway Welders)

Edge Rail Solutions are currently seeking experienced Aluminothermic Welders to join our growing team in Brisbane, QLD to assist in rail network shutdowns and maintenance on a fulltime Salary. 

Edge Rail specializes in providing Supervision, Track Certification, Aluminothermic welding and track labouring to the railway construction industry. We are looking for highly motivated, reliable and experienced personnel in the rail construction industry, with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

• Aluminothermic Welders 
• Welders offsiders 
• Track Certifiers
• Leading Hand/Supervisors 

Compulsory minimum Requirements:

Required/Mandatory 

• Minimum 24 months experience in the Rai Alluminothermic Welding
• Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW/RSW)
• WET/SARC (Working in Electrified Territory, Safely Access Rail Corridor)
• CRR induction (Beneficial) 
• WHS Construction Induction (White Card)
• Certificate II in Rail and infrastructure/Certificate III (Track Cert)
• Current Rail Welding Certificates (Queensland Rail, Aurizon & National)
• CAT 3 Medical/CAT 1 Medical 
• Driver's License with own transport. (Truck License Preferred) 
• Right to work in Australia 
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment and Rail CAT 3 or CAT 1 medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

• Rail references will be checked for experience.
