About the Role
A great opportunity has presented itself for an experienced fabricator/boilermaker to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will be required to perform (but not limited to) the following tasks:
- Operation of workshop equipment such as up-cut saw, MIG and TIG welders, CNC router, tube laser
- Welding of aluminium architectural products such as balustrading, cladding, battens, façade screening, shutters, sun hoods, fencing, gates
The Person
To be considered for this job, the successful applicant should possess the following traits and skills:
- Hold a minimum of Certificate III in Engineering
- Prior experience in a similar job role
- Experienced in MIG and TIG welding
- Prior experience with the fabrication of aluminum architectural products such as balustrading, cladding, battens, façade screening, shutters, sun hoods, fencing, gates – pedestrian and driveway would be highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret workshop and engineering drawings and specifications
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Current driver’s license
- Forklift ticket and construction white card highly regarded but not essential
- High level of attention to detail
