Navigating through our complex work environment, we bring teams and individuals together to deliver on our customers’ expectations.Our Base Maintenance team is expanding, and we have multiple opportunities to work within our Aircraft Maintenance Engineering team.As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams within Brisbane in a hangar environment, enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.You’ll have –Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Avionics)Relevant Aircraft Maintenance Avionics trade experienceExtensive servicing experience on A320, A330 and B737 aircraft in a base maintenance environment (advantageous)Thorough knowledge and understanding of Qantas Maintenance procedures (advantageous)Commitment to all safe working practices and service standardsDemonstrated ability to work as part of a teamCommitment to being customer focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as requiredHighly developed attention to detailDemonstrated high ethical/behaviour standards and self-disciplineAbility to work rotating shift rostersWe've worked hard to create a culture that will challenge and excite you - and give you the support you need to really go places.
