MXH SERVICES Pet Trainers are responsible for providing brand consistency, delivering all program offerings, and maintaining operational standards within the MXH SERVICES product categories from pet day-care training, behavioural consult, farm trips, group training classes as well as training walks.
The Senior Pet Trainers play an important role in our facility, as they are accountable for consistent achievement of quality pet training outcomes whilst educating and engaging pet owners.
You must be committed to, and show a genuine interest in, enhancing communication and teamwork between dog and owners by offering positive solutions and rewarding success while providing a fun and safe environment. Providing owners with exceptional Pet Training instruction and customer service.
This role is responsible for the following:
· teaching animals to obey verbal and non-verbal commands and addressing behavioural problems
· training animals to accept riders and pull vehicles
· training animals to perform in competitions
· bathing, cutting, combing, blow-drying and styling pets’ coats, clipping their nails and cleaning their ears
· inspecting, preparing, cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining comfortable animal cages and enclosures
· transporting food, filling water troughs and feeding animals according to their individual needs
· maintaining animal health records, treating minor injuries and reporting serious conditions to Veterinarians
· exercising and playing with animals, answering visitor questions, and transferring animals between enclosures by leading or carrying them
· dusting and spraying insecticides on animals and immersing them in insecticide baths, to control insect pests
We offer a range of pet training products to our customers a Training facility to practice agility and scent work as well as, training walks, one on one behavioural consultations, puppy classes and holiday period boarding.
We are continuing to grow and develop our services and seeking a senior pet trainer to help us grow our business further.
Requirement:
*Have minimum of 2-3 years experiences as a professional pet trainer, including experience working with various dogs and customers, across a range of fields in pet training.
*Have completed/nearly completed diploma.
*Have the skill to implement training stategies based on proven animal behaviour methodologies for individual pets.
*Be highly motivated by providing solutions, pet training skills/techniques with superior customer service to pet owners.
*Be a change enabler and driven to achieve your own professional development.
*Work effectively without direct supervisions.
*Administation skills, sales skills and experience in maintaining training records.
*An ability to train junior trainers to up-skill their knowledge.
*Demonstrate clear and concise communication skills with pets and junior trainers and customers.
*Must have vary physical demanding to hand-on with wide range of dogs.
*Able to arrangement time clearly make sure complete task.
