AddressBlue Mountains City Council are seeking an individual with experience in animal handling who has strong customer service skills, works effectively in a team and is emotionally resilient. Relevant qualifications include Animal Care-related units (Certificate II/III Animal Care, Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing, or other equivalent) with a driver’s licence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of animal wellbeing are maintained for all animals in their care and for ensuring high standards of customer service regarding animal related matters. Duties include assisting customers, cleaning, feeding, and exercising animals, transporting animals and keeping records.
Please note: hours of work will be rostered over 4 days; Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $61,464 gross per annum (pro-rata)
+ adverse working allowance of $1000 gross per annum
+ 11% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
