AddressJBS Australia’s Prime City Feedlot is located 45km northwest of Griffith in Southern NSW. We are currently offering an opportunity for a stockperson to further develop their cattle handling, livestock diagnosis & treatment skills as an important member of our Livestock Team.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis of Animal Health symptoms
- Administration of Animal Health treatments
- Maintaining accurate records of animal treatments and stock movements
- Daily livestock handling including drafting of cattle
- Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations
Criteria:
- Previous Livestock handling and/or Feedlot experience
- Communication, organizational & interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to animal welfare, health & nutrition
- Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
- Ability & willingness to learn new skills
