The Role:
An opportunity is available for a passionate and community minded Registered Midwife to deliver vital antenatal services one day per month to patients in Ouyen, a rural town 100 kms south of Mildura.
The Antenatal Clinic Midwife fulfils the role and responsibilities of a Registered Midwife providing sensitive, evidenced based, family centred care.
This role will work in the Antenatal Clinic alongside Midwives & MBPH Obstetricians to provide antenatal assessments, booking in visits and high & low risk clinics in accordance with the National Midwifery Guidelines for Consultation and Referral and Safer Care Victoria guidelines.

To be successful in this role :
You will be registered with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife, with a minimum of 2 years (5 years preferred) midwifery experience.
You will also have :
- Demonstrated organisational skills and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated sound level of midwifery
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation and our external stakeholders
- Knowledge and awareness of the latest evidence-based practice in Women’s Health
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
A Drivers Licence is essential for this role.
