Exciting new expansion for Knox Private Hospital Work is well underway on a major expansion of Knox Private Hospital that will help us continue to meet the growing demand for quality health care across Melbourne's east. The new multi-million-dollar expansion will help Knox Private deliver an expanded and enhanced service offering for our patients and will further cement our reputation as a world-class healthcare facility. 2023/2024 Expansion Project includes: Three story North Tower with two wards (60 beds), upgrade to Knox Heart Centre (our non-invasive diagnostic cardiology), both recently commissioned, upgrade and increase in ICU and CCU beds, 16 chair renal dialysis unit and Specialist Consulting Suites As an ANUM - your responsibilities will include: Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvementMaintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resourcesCoordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiativesUndertaking direct patient care, as requiredMentoring of staff Selection Criteria: Current Registration with AHPRAWorking with Childrens checkCurrent or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)Sound clinical knowledge3 years of clinical/surgical experienceCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsExemplary interpersonal and communication skillsPositive role modelling behavioursAbility to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shiftsExcellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation Why Healthscope? For any questions, please reach out to If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025" (salaries range between $52.93 and $54.71 per hour).
