AO5 Information Sharing Officer

We are seeking an AO5 Information Sharing Officer to join our state government client based in Brisbane. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of managing Queensland's state taxes, royalty, homeowner grants, fines and unpaid penalties.

Client: Queensland Revenue Office
Period: Commence immediately, contract ending 31 October 2024. Potential for extension.
Location: Brisbane CBD
Pay Rate: $62.67/hr plus Super.

The Opportunity:

As an AO5 Information Sharing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team based in Brisbane CBD. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of Queensland's fiscal landscape while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key highlights of this role include:

• Drafting high-level documents such as Briefing Notes and Memos;
• Applying and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy provisions outlined in relevant Acts;
• Contributing to the development and negotiation of Information Sharing documents;
• Providing high-level advice and consultation to stakeholders; and
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

Required Experience:

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experiences:

• Proven experience in drafting high-level documents and agreements;
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, particularly the Information Privacy Act 2009;
• Ability to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
