Due to unprecedented growth in this area an exciting opportunity has arisen for a vibrant and experienced Apparel Graphic Designer to join our dynamic and successful team.

THE POSITION

The motivated individual will work closely with our well-established Product Team to provide concepts and designs for all of our sporting brands.  We require someone with creativity and the understanding of, and the willingness to get in and get the job done.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Work with our Product and Commercial teams to design and draw artworks and provide concepts for development.
  • Create and evolve story boards and concepts for Pro Teams and Club/School trends.
  • Support and assist the Product team throughout the product development process, including involvement in the setting up of product CADs, trim development and colour standardising.
  • Continually research and develop garment and design concepts.
  • Liaise with vendors on artwork, layout dimensions and delivery requirements.
  • Manage off shore artwork/graphic team workloads and pipelines.
  • Be responsible for the application of textile and graphic elements to multi product areas including sport and leisure apparel & accessories.
  • Compile and send finished art to relevant suppliers and liaise with the Production team where relevant.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be team player with a perfect blend of creative flair and attention to detail.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in a similar graphic design role will be essential.
  • Ability to create 3D Avatars for Marketing and Conceptual purposes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven skills in finished art and print production with an understanding of design for apparel manufacture.
  • Experience working with Adobe suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience in creating placement prints, embroidery and cut work designs preferable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of local market and sporting trends.
  • Standard knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels, both with our internal team and manufacturers.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and manage your workload to ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Fashion Design or Graphic Design tertiary qualifications.

Head Office is located in Melbourne's Bayside suburb of Cheltenham and this is a full-time position however we are willing to be flexible with working hours and a remote/hybrid working model for the right person.
