THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Group Manager Digital Technology the Application Data & Cloud Lead is responsible for managing, optimising and improving system performance and support services of application, data, and cloud services, including data integration, analytics, and reporting functions.
This is a permanent full-time role based at our Corporate office in West Perth.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing guidance and leadership of the Technology Application Support, Data Analytics & Cloud team
- Offering solutions in architecture, application lifecycle management, data integration, data warehousing, data Analytics and reporting
- Oversee application, integration, and API development, managing cloud infrastructure, and optimizing data analytics processes.
- Coordinate the development and analytic team, ensuring cloud services are efficient and secure, and leveraging analytics to derive meaningful insights for business decisions.
- Build internal analytics and reporting capability, aligning technology cloud and data strategies to overall business objectives.
- Oversee daily technical operations of the application and data analytics team working closely with relevant application support teams and vendors to provide Level 2 support.
- Delegate tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Liaise with other team, management, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to standard and issues resolved.
- Maintains knowledge of business processes across multiple functional areas and provides technical guidance to the application support team.
ABOUT YOU:
- Qualified with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field
- Certified in Cloud data and analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, snowflake
- Practical experience in the design, implementation, and operation of cloud technology services and applications to support changing business requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar role in leading teams or managing cloud and analytics projects.
- Experience in application development, cloud architecture, and analytics roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to application development.
