Brumbys caufirld north is looking for baker apprentice, year one, two or three.
This opportunity only for a person who is perusing baking studies.
Job responsibilities:
· Follow daily production sheet.
· Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
· Dough diving into required weight and molding
· Proving to right size and time.
· Understanding of science related to bread baking such as how dough temperatures, and whether conditions can influence the quality of product.
· Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure consistency.
· Baking different bread type, slices and cakes.
· Making sweets such as figure buns, donuts, cinnamon buns, and coffee scrolls.
· Making savory such as cheddermite scrolls and various pizza, and savory rolls.
· Making slices such as valilla slice, caramel slice, hedgehog slice etc.
· Monitoring oven temperature and product appearance to determine baking times
· Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines for all products and working practices, including adhering to cleaning procedures
· Maintaining food at the correct temperatures, correct storage of goods, safe operation of equipment
· Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance
· Order ingredients as required.
The salary is award rates for apprentice.
