The Role:
As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will be working mainly on a variety of residential sites across the Northern Beaches, assisting tradespeople building quality projects whilst gaining valuable, practical experience you will be required to undertake formal qualifications in Certificate III in Carpentry. These are great learning roles working in a strong team atmosphere requiring someone who can work in fast paced changing environment. You will be working on the some of the most outstanding residential projects on the Northern Beaches receiving skills training of the highest order.
Duties May Include:
- measuring and cutting timber and other materials
- performing basic maths calculations
- generally assisting tradespeople
- carrying tools and building materials
- keeping building site clean and organised
- following safe work procedures
Potential Candidates:
- Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must have a Current Drivers Licence & own transport
- White Card required
- Analytical and technical mindset
- The ability to understand written and verbal instruction
- Highly motivated team player
- Experience working with timber, carpentry or construction labouring would be an advantage.
