GTNT Group are now recruiting for an Apprentice Electrician to work with Territory Generation in Katherine.
This fantastic opportunity is offering a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician UEE30820 with paid employment!
In this role you will be performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities and modifications of complex electrical and generation equipment associated with critical power generating plant operating on natural gas and diesel fuels. You will solve problems in magnetic and electromagnetic devices, low voltage circuits and direct current machines.
To be successful in this role, you will have/be:
- NT C class driver's licence (P's acceptable)
- Undergo a full medical + drug testing
- Indigenous & female's are encouraged to apply
Qualification Description:
This qualification provides individuals with the skills and knowledge to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in buildings and premises. It includes Electrical Regulatory Authority Council (ERAC), or their successor’s, Essential Performance Capabilities for an ‘Unrestricted Electrician’s license’.
Nominal Duration: This qualification has a set nominal duration of 48 months. This is the amount of time you need to be committed to, for successful completion of this qualification
