Seeking technically minded individuals with a strong mathematical aptitude to commence in this exciting, well sought after trade.
During this apprenticeship you would be gaining experience in the workplace whilst studying a Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
- Reading and understanding specifications to determine electrical requirements
- Planning wiring systems
- Testing, locating and repairing malfunctions
- Installing electrical control systems
- Assembling and fabricating electrical components
- Connecting electrical equipment to power supplies
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Have successfully completed a Cert II Electrotechnology
- Hold a CPR and First Aid certificate
- Strong mathematical skills and an aptitude for problem solving
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Drivers licence and own transport
