Apprentice Greenkeeper (Sports Turf Management)
Country Club is one of the state’s leading entertainment destinations. Our 18-hole championship golf course is currently under redevelopment, with the new park land style course hoped to be ranked within the top 100 courses in Australia. We are seeking applicants passionate about a career in Sports Turf Management to join the growing Greenkeeping Team at this exciting time.
Position overview:
In this role, you will learn all aspects of golf course maintenance on-site while completing your Certificate III in Sports Turf Management. You will carry out ground care duties, attend TAFE classes, assist with renovations and utilise skills and knowledge developed through formal and workplace training.

Our preferred candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Dedication and commitment to successfully complete a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
- Reliability and excellent time management
- Strong team player with an enthusiastic and motivated approach to work
- Ability to work in a physically demanding position
- A flexible approach to shift work, with the ability to work across seven days a week, including regular weekend shifts
- Current Tasmanian manual drivers licence.
