AddressThe Shepparton Golf Club, located 2 hours north of Melbourne is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our course maintenance team as an Apprentice Greenskeeper.
Responsibilities:- Undertake all duties associated with maintaining and improving the golf course, including mowing, watering, fertilizing, and general turf care.
- Assist in the maintenance of the course's landscaping
- Operate and maintain various equipment and machinery used for turf care.
- Comply with all safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- A genuine interest in turf management
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in turf management
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to complete all formal qualifications
- Gain hands-on experience in turf management.
