Position Overview: As an apprentice construction landscaper, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn the ins and outs of landscape construction. From installing hardscape elements like patios, decks, pathways and retaining walls to planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of landscape construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of landscape features such as patios, Decks, Retaining walls, pathways, and water features.
- Learn proper planting techniques and assist with plant installations.
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
Requirements:
- A passion for landscaping and outdoor work.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Job open to 1st-4th year apprentices who wish to also apply
