As an Apprentice Roofer, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn the skills and techniques necessary for successful roofing installations and repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry, specifically in roofing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in roof replacements, verandah installs, tile conversions, gutter replacements and roof repairs for residential and commercial buildings
- Learn proper safety procedures and regulations related to roofing work.
- Assist in preparing roofing materials and tools for each job.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow instructions from experienced roofers to develop essential skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn and work hard is essential.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Southern Adelaide area.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.
