Key Objective:

Carry out tasks related to the plumbing trade, under the supervision of a qualified plumbing tradesman/instructor and consistent with apprenticeship year level. Attend off the job trade school to complete learning and assessment outcomes required for a plumbing apprenticeship.

Accountabilities:

• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with CSF Safety Policy and relevant Safe Work Method Statements.
• Perform assigned duties in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure all projects are completed in order, on time and within budget.
• Work within a team environment.
• Ensure that all work is carried out to CSF ISO9001 quality system and project specifications.
• Review procedures and assist with continual improvement.
• Read drawings, specifications, follow work orders to determine the product or job instructions.
• Time cards to be completed daily and must be accurate and submitted on time.
• Follow instructions and directions of the site supervisor.
• Keep work environment clean and tidy at all times.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• All tickets/qualifications to be kept up to date.
• Have your own transport to and from workshop or sites as required.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Essential Functions:

• General metal roofing and cladding duties including planning, align/level and fix cladding, using hand/power tools.
• Measure and install flashing, insulation, soffit sheeting and all other miscellaneous items associated with metal roofing.
• Use elevated work platforms according to instructions and safety requirements

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

• Car License
• Comfortable at heights
• Enjoys working outdoors
