APPRENTICE WOOD MACHINIST/JOINER &FACTORY HAND

Heritage Window Specialists is looking for an apprentice Wood Machinist/Joiner to join our team!
This position will be permanent/full time to the right candidate. We are after someone who is reliable and trustworthy, takes pride in their work and works well in a team environment as well as a willingness to learn.

APPRENTICE WOOD MACHINIST/JOINER &FACTORY HAND:
A hard-working person with a willingness to learn is required to join our team. The role is a permanent full time position Monday – Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm.
As part of the factory team, reporting to the Project Manager and Director, you will work closely with a crew of professional tradesman and apprentices to manufacture joinery for timber Windows & Doors. This role is ideal for hard working people who are looking for long term employment and opportunities to learn and grow within the business and potential for in-house apprenticeship.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working in a group to provide whatever helping hand is necessary
- Operating and daily running of Wood Machines
- Glazing and painting.
- Any other task required and asked by the Project Manager and Team
- General cleaning
Skills & Experience
- Present and conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Professional demeanor in verbal communication
- Discipline to establish a daily routine, work methodically, accurately, and efficiently
- Able to priorities workloads in line with Staff/others’ deliverables, completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Able to always work independently and as part of a team professionally
- Possess a high level of attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn
- Ability to take instructions and completely daily tasks required
- Driver’s license is a bonus
- Respect for others and themselves
- Attention to detail and proud of their work
