Apprenticeship Certificate III Horticulture

The Company:
We are a well-established and highly reputable local horticulture maintenance business. We pride ourselves on maintaining the presentation and health of our clients’ gardens and service clients across the Sunbury and Macedon areas.

The Role:
In this role you will work as part of a small, close-knit team to care for the maintenance and health of our clients’ gardens. 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Tidying gardens and paths;
• Mulching and composting;
• Planting and plant arrangement;
• Transplanting and removal;
• Pruning, hedging, deadheading;
• Rose pruning, training of climbers;
• Mowing and edging, including use of a ride on mower;
• Irrigation maintenance;
• Watering and fertilising;
• Indoor plant health;
• Other duties as required.

This is a full time role. 

You will attend tafe 1 day a week and 4 days working in clients gardens along side your team leader. To complete your Certificate III in Horticulture.

About You:
You will be motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and above all committed to a career in the gardening and horticulture field.

You will have previous work experience either in a trades setting, or in retail or hospitality, and be able to demonstrate your reliable work ethic and interest in the field.

A current drivers license and your own vehicle are required, but all other tools and training will be provided.
