About Us

As Tasmania’s publicly owned training provider, TasTAFE is a vital contributor to the prosperity of the state’s economy through supporting jobs and employment and the economic resilience of our businesses and industry. With a focus on practical, real-life learning, we work hard to ensure the training our learners receive is industry relevant and we provide real industry skills that are highly valued by employers.

TasTAFE aspires to be a place of innovation, creating new ways of training, finding solutions, delivering differently, and increasing access for all.

The Role

While primarily stationed at our southern campus locations, you'll travel to employers, serving as a vital link between apprentices, trainees, and our organisation. This full-time position entails administrative tasks and comprehensive support throughout the enrolment process.

On any given day, you will:

  • Inspire and guide learners with a tailored training plan for their qualification
  • Schedule on site-visits with apprentices, trainees, and their employers
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless student enrolment
  • Be a pivotal point of contact for all apprentice and trainee enrolments.

What will you bring

  • Ability to work across multiple locations where necessary.
  • A flair for scheduling and organisation
  • Experience within varying industry sectors

You will require a current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement.

Supporting a Diverse Workforce

At TasTAFE, we encourage applications from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, people living with a disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, mature age workers and members of the LGBTIQ+ community.

We are a diverse and inclusive workplace and understand the importance of flexibility. We want our workforce to reflect the diversity in our community and we are committed to building a culture we are all proud of.

Ask us how we can make this role flexible to suit you.

Join TasTAFE

If you think this could be the opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply. To be eligible, you must have the right to work in Australia.

Candidate screening and interviews may commence prior to the closing date.

Applications for this role close at 11:55pm on Sunday 21st April

TasTAFE prioritises Tasmania’s Child and Youth Safe Standards and the Universal Principle for Aboriginal Cultural Safety in its recruitment process, ensuring the safety and cultural well-being of children, youth, and Aboriginal individuals.
