HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a skilled APS5 Level Procurement professional to contribute to the success of our esteemed client. As the Procurement (Labour Hire) specialist, you will play a vital role in providing policy advice, administrative support, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.

This position involves:

  • Offering level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential information.
  • Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency.
  • Ensuring compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules, Procurement Policy, and procedures.
  • Assisting in tracking value for money outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
  • Preparing various procurement-related documentation.
  • Drafting correspondence and reports, including emails and letters.
  • Handling data entry, extraction, and manipulation for accurate Agency reporting.
  • Contributing to team and branch planning activities, identifying improvement opportunities.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Guidelines.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in drafting correspondence, reports, and procurement-related documentation.
  • Data entry and manipulation skills for accurate reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to contribute to team and branch planning activities.
