The Role
The role of the MSB Environment Manager is to manage, deliver and coordinate:

• The MSB Environmental Services section
• MSB environmental management programs
• Exercise and Operational Environmental compliance guidance and advice within Fleet Command, Navy and with other Defence agencies

Maritime Safety Bureau undertakes surveillance activities to inform timely intervention in issues that could affect capability. It is responsible to be proactive in the application of human and financial resources to resolve identified issues. MSB is a centre of excellence for the provision and delivery of professional environmental and safety services in a timely manner to the Fleet Commander and all Fleet Command elements and units.   

Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate would have Tertiary Qualifications in Environmental Management or Equivalent Experience in Defence related Maritime Environmental Management.
