The successful candidates will work alongside a dynamic and high-performing team to interpret and enter information from Special Access Scheme (SAS) notifications into a database.
These roles are temporary (12 months) and will support the SAS in moving to a mandatory online system. The work would be suited to individuals with experience in efficient Data Entry in a healthcare or medical setting as an introduction to the APS.
The key duties of the position include
- Gain a general understanding of the Special Access Scheme (SAS) and standard operating procedures for administration staff;
- Undertake basic Data Entry of SAS submissions into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database using Microsoft Dynamics 365 with accuracy and efficiency according to set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
- Complete allocated tasks under guidance, within required timeframes and compliant with set procedures;
- Interpret typed or handwritten information completed on a PDF form, including medical terminology;
- Make basic administrative decisions such as determining initial validity of submissions, requesting missing information and matching prescriber details to registration status;
- Maintain health practitioner details in the CRM database;
- Refer new product/indications to the appropriate staff member for addition to the database;
- Organise and file documentation in accordance with the TGA Records Management Policy;
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
