Job description

The annual salary for this position is from $56,106 to $63,116 plus 15.4% superannuation. Our newly approved Enterprise Agreement will deliver a 4% pay increase from 14 March 2024.

The AAT is part of the justice sector and provides administrative justice for individuals and organisations by reviewing government and other decisions and, more broadly, contributes to improving the quality of government decision-making.

Position Eligibility Requirements

The AAT requires Australian citizenship as a condition of engagement. All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and to undertake a health assessment.

Our members are independent statutory appointees who hear applications for review. Our staff provide services to support those seeking merits review, including helping applicants navigate the process. Staff also carry out a wide range of activities to support our hearings our work in alternate dispute resolution and our daily operations.
