The Opportunity
An exciting permanent transfer or non-ongoing opportunity awaits an APS4/5 HR Officer to join our client's team. The current team comprises 2 EL1s, 2 APS6s, an APS5, and an APS4, fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture aligned with APS values.
Engage in meaningful work where you will predominately provide payroll services and payroll processing but also support other HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, recruitment and HR data and reporting.
The Role
The responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage payroll inquiries, process data, and aid HR reporting, including reconciling payroll bi-weekly
- Support the organisations HR policies through personnel administration services
- Execute diverse HR functions: payroll, analytics, recruitment, onboarding, and learning
- Provide reliable guidance on complex HR matters
- Assist in drafting HR materials and maintaining procedures
- Implement best HR practices for organisational effectiveness
- Stay updated on legislation for effective application
- Build relationships and negotiate with stakeholders
- Collaborate across teams

A salary of $70k - $85k + 15.4% super will be offered to the successful candidate.
