On behalf of a Federal Government Agency based in Richmond or Geelong we are looking for a APS5 and 6 Communications & Guidance Officer. This is a 12-month assignment. The role will work a hybrid arrangement, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day and will be paying $55.24- $60.26 per hour plus super.
Working to support the service guidance and practice branch, you will be responsible for presenting policy, improvements and system enhancements in clear operational guidelines. You will support the development of letters, forms, factsheets and guides for both internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities for APS5 Guidance Officer:
- Research, draft, and update guidance material.
- Interpret policy and legislation into an accessible document.
- Provide service delivery knowledge about procedural guidance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and draft clear guidance material.
- Ability to write documents in Plain English.
- Handle multiple priorities under limited supervision.
- Desirable: Confluence and JIRA experience.
- Lead the development of internal and external guidance materials.
- Analyse data and systems top develop internal and external guidance materials.
- Initiate and maintain strong relationships.
- Represent the team as a subject matter expert.
- Manage multiple priorities with high standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Undertake research and analysis.

- Solve complex problems under limited direction.
