A fantastic opportunity has come up to work with one of our Government agencies based in Sydney for a 12 month contract (possibility of extension) for an APS5 Events Communications Coordinator. Working closely with all government sectors within public hospitals and aged care facilities. This role will support the delivery of high-quality events and digital learning programs with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to:
- Contribute to the planning and management of program events to support engagement with key stakeholders
- Service delivery of communications
- Provide high quality and timely advise to managers, events and communications on events
- Develop policies and procedures relating to conferences and events
- Support the manager, events to engage and manage supplier contracts
- Post event analysis and reviews
- 2-3 years experience within event management
- Experience in managing logistically complex events- either in person, viral, WebEx roadshows or panel discussions
- High level of conference planning and logistics
- Proficiency in the use of event software such as EventAIR
- Government experience desirable
